March 3rd-1920----July 20-2005

James Doohan died at  his Redmond, Wash., home with his wife of 31 years, Wende, at his side, The cause of death was pneumonia and Alzheimer's disease.

DeFOREST  KELLEY

20th January 1920 - 11th June 1999
Actor DeForest Kelley, beloved by millions for his portrayal of the crusty deep-space doctor ''Leonard 'Bones' McCoy'' on the original Star Trek TV series, died at the age 79. after a long illness.

RAY  WALSTON 

1914-2001 

Our favourite Martian Dies, after a short illness. Portrayed the wise old gardener in The Next Generation, was also in Voyager.

JOHN COLICOS

-2000

 He was best known for his character of Kor, the very first Klingon seen on the original Star Trek. Colicos returned again as Kor, on DS9 in Blood Oath.-The Sword of Kahless-Once More Unto the Breach.

PERSIS  KHAMBATTA 

1950- 1998

Played Lt. Ilia in "Star Trek: The Motion Picture," Persis was an Indian-born actress who was crowned "Miss India" in 1965. On Tuesday, Aug. 18, she died after a massive heart attack in a Bombay, 

MARK LENARD 

1927-1996 

Best known for his Roles in Planet Of the Apes as "Urko" And Ambassador Sarek. Father of Spock in Star Trek. He Died  after losing his battle with multiple myeloma.

BIBI BESCH 

Played Dr. Carol Marcus in : The Wrath of Khan, she was 56-years-old when she died in 1996.

GENE RODDENBERRY

 1921-1991 

Star Trek's creator nicknamed "Great Bird of the Galaxy". A former airline pilot and police officer. He wrote the first Star Trek pilot "The Cage" in 1964, and served as producer and executive producer during the show's original network run from 1966 to 1969.

MERRIT BUTRICK 

(1959-1989) 

Died after a short illness 1989 at the young age of 29. Best known for playing Kirk's son, Dr. David Marcus in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and The Search For Spock, he was also in the TNG episode "Symbiosis"

JEFFERY HUNTER

 1925-1969 

Most famous role was Nicholas Ray's "King Of King's". He was in the first Star Trek pilot "The Cage" in 1964  as Captain Christopher Pike. He died after surgery following an accidental fall.
